So, Yves Saint Laurent interiors – that’s a surefire search term for finding stylish Seventies Parisian interiors I thought last night. And lo and behold, I was right! For your viewing pleasure I have collected the pictures of three classic Yves Saint Laurent magazine articles. Two from Vanity Fair, and one from a vintage issue of Architectural Digest. And I’ve even found a video of of the auction that was held a couple of years ago by Laurent’s partner Pierre Bergé to sell off all of their belongings after his death. That must have been so sad.
Anyway, here in all their glory are the various interiors of Yves Saint Laurent from the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties. Some of them are kind of subdued in that typical Seventies way I’ve been liking lately and some of them are a bit more baroque slash classic slash frou frou Madeleine Castaing-y. (Note to self: must write blogpost about Madeleine Castaing some time).
Une bonne journée à tous et on se verra demain!
