It’s been over two weeks since I last updated Interiorator.com. And you know what? I thoroughly enjoyed my extended absence online. Didn’t plan it, didn’t work ahead. So sue me – a blogger needs a break from time to time. That being said, I’m glad to be back online and I promise you, this is going to be the best 2015 EVER. You see, I’ve decided to go back to basic. I’m going to limit myself to just three blogsposts a week and I’m sticking to the stuff I really (REALLY!) like. No more, no less. So traffic, be damned – I’m feeling new sensations!
So, to celebrate my newfound liberation I thought I’d share some of the music I’ve been listening to these last two weeks. To be honest I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to continue blogging at all. I started on a fulltime job last September that’s been really fulfilling and very soon after that I started wondering what is left to add to the internet that hasn’t been added a million times over already? Two good reasons to throw in the towel, but I guess I’m still here, damnit! I spent 35 dollars (that’s 30 euro’s!) this morning on a brand-spanking new Spotify plugin so let’s have some fun with it. If you’re reading this on a desktop, you can find the first playlist on the right. And if you’re on a mobile device, just scroll down and enjoy.
At home with Flawless Sabrina
Legendary drag queen. Legendary interior. Just take a look at Flawless Sabrina’s apartment and tell me you’re NOT impressed. And one other semi-deep thought I’ve been having: I’m forty-five years old and men who could have been my effin’ sons are going off to fight for IS. I guess being young doesn’t always mean being ahead of the time, right? So there. Anyway, back to Flawless Sabrina. There’s a Kickstarter campaign to start the Flawless Sabrina Archive. You can find more details right here. For a full slideshow of Flawless Sabrina at home, go over to the website of photographer Zackary Drucker.

Maserati Boomerang 1972
I don’t have a car at the moment (nor do I need one), but that doesn’t mean I don’t like them! Predictably, I didn’t win the lottery this New Year’s Eve but otherwise you could bet I would get this Maserati Boomerang 1972 in a New York Second.
Age 85 and still stylish – this is Ali Akdeniz!
A fun radio story on NPR with one of Berlin’s most colorful characters, the 85-year old Ali Akdeniz. I was fascinated in 2014 by Women of Advanced Style, now it’s time to turn to male senior snappy dressers, ja?
