Ah, the suite life of a blogger! As you may know, I work as a Living & Design Editor for Dutch luxury department store de Bijenkorf. Sounds extremely fancy but what it comes down to is that I write a weekly blogpost about all the wonderful stuff you can buy at the Netherlands’ biggest and bestest store. I’ve been wanting to write a blogpost about Scandinavian design for de Bijenkorf for quite some time now, so you can imagine my excitement when I found out that the Scandic Grand Central in Stockholm has a special bloggers room that is available for free. Yes, you read that correctly. This whopper of a hotel suite is free, provided of course you write some nice blogposts about Stockholm and you have a large enough audience.

And so to Stockholm I went last weekend – which explains why I wasn’t able to update Interiorator over the last few days. The resulting blogpost for de Bijenkorf is in the works – it’ll probably be mostly about Design House Stockholm and I’ll probably throw in some inside tips for good measure.

It turns out, however, that I saw so many great things that I’m going to share some personal favorites with you right here on Interiorator.com. And what better place to start than with said hotel suite?

Tomorrow I’ll show you all the pictures I took during my visit to the brandspanking new Abba Museum. Yes, Abba has a museum – and it was great!
