Roger Tallon is the French industrial designer behind everything from the original TGV down to TV sets and furniture. I started browsing through the online database of all the Roger Tallon documents that were donated to the Musée des Arts Décoratifs a while ago and let me tell you, this man had STYLE. It’s pretty easy to get lost in all those beautiful designs and drawings and so I figured I’d focus on one particular project that caught my eye – Tallon’s 1983 eyewear concept for Essilor and Ray-Ban. Amazingly cool glasses superimposed on images of (who else) Farrah Fawcett and some kick-ass photoshoots – but unfortunately these babies never went into production. Zut alors!
