Perfection, Thy Name is Cappellini

Well, what else can I say? Interior design doesn’t get any better than the Cappellini exhibition stand at this year’s Biennale Interieur. The bright blue carpet that clashes just right with the purple walls, the fiery red Revolving Cabinet by Shiro Kuramata and oh, that black and white rug! I must have spent a good fifteen minutes taking it all in – I mean, how often do you see such an overdose of good taste – right? Now that I think of it, the last time I was so insanely impressed was last January at the Designmuseum Gent – which was the first time I saw the Pyramid Cabinet, another Kuramata masterpiece. Anyway, I probably should sit down on a wet rag now to cool down a bit!

I’d love to hear what you think about this sort of design! Would you get wall to wall blue carpeting and purple walls? (Please say yes) Let me know in the Facebook comments section underneath the pictures!
