On Foscarini and fifteen minutes of fame
I guess my fifteen minutes of fame are starting right about now. Earlier this month, I was interviewed for an article in the biggest regional Dutch newspapers. And as I hastily write this blogpost on the train from Rotterdam to Utrecht, I’m proud to announce I’m nervous as fuck for a live radio interview on national radio this afternoon for a show called Spijkers met Koppen. Don’t think it’s all glitter and glamour, though. I spent two very frustrating nights trying to take juuuuust the right picture of my new Foscarini Lumiere lamp.
I’ve embedded the entire episode for your listening pleasure. My segment start around the 32-minute mark.
And here’s the entire newspaper interview – don’t forget to click to enlarge!
And if that isn’t enough for you…here are the pictures that were used in the article along with some outtakes. Thanks Shody Careman, you are one great photographer – and I had a blast working with you on location at Plaisier Interieur in Ridderkerk.
The Foscarini Lumiere and other pics of my home as it looks right now
Now, I can imagine that my upcoming radio interview might draw some new visitors to Interiorator.com. Just for you, I’ve collected a few pictures of my home as it looks right now – including the ones I took of my new Foscarini Lumiere lamp earlier this week. You like?
