My good pal Ingrid Robers and I had just taken the first sip of our Chardonnay when it was announced that the press preview of OBJECT Rotterdam 2017 would start right away. And that only left us with just one viable – and enviable – option: guzzle down an entire glass of white wine and then join curator extraordinaire Anne van der Zwaag through the bowels of the ss Rotterdam oceanliner for a whirlwind tour of the best little design exhibition in the Netherlands had to offer this year. And let me tell you: it was close to perfection. I’ll let the pictures do the talking for now.
OBJECT Rotterdam 2017 is a very short affair and so you have to – HAVE TO – go this weekend or you’ll regret it for the rest of your life. You can find all the details on OBJECTRotterdam.com.
