As I sit here on the train to Amsterdam, I wonder what my day is going to be like. You see, today I’m starting as a teacher at the renowned Artemis Styling Academie. I’m going to teach a subject called Image Communication to first-year allround styling students, which means they’re going to learn all about image composition and combination. And even though I’m well (I hope!) prepared and know what I’m talking about, I have to admit I find it all terribly exciting. Will the students like what I’m saying? Will they listen? And most importantly – will they learn something valuable? They’re probably just as excited as I am – after all, it’s their first day at school as well!
PS: It’s 6 PM and I’mm home again. R-E-S-P-E-C-T to all teachers in the world, you have one tough job! I had a blast, though and I’m pretty sure my students did as well. Class dismissed! See you next week! And don’t forget to do you homework, okay?
