In case you’re wondering where the hell I’ve been these past few weeks, here your g*ddamn answer. A few weeks ago, my mother suggested I sell my old Lego. After all, I hadn’t done anything with it for ages (not a surprise for a 50-year old man, of course) and so we both agreed that it would be a nice way to generate some extra coinage in these hard times. My original plan was to just sell the bricks for a few hundred euros and then just get on with my life, until someone pointed out that my Lego would be worth a lot more if I sold the complete sets with all the instructions. Since we’re all more or less stuck at home right now, I wanted to see how much I could build. And here’s the result. I spent night after night sorting bricks and building sets until my fingers literally hurt. I even started dreaming about Lego, how about that! I wouldn’t necessarily say that it was the best experience of my life, but it was nice to think back about my childhood and what an incredibly big Lego fan I used to be. Sometimes you gotta Lego, right? Anyway, it was the only thing I played with and let me tell you, I was good at it.
So, without further ado, let me present to you the fruit of my loin. It was a lot of work, so I sincerely hope it was worth the effort. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line. And as you can imagine, I’m going to try and sell everything at once…so let the bidding begin!
