Jessica Helgerson – Good Taste the American Way

With a degree in American Studies, I guess I can say I love all things American. Well, most of them – certainly not everything! I particularly love American homes, whether on New York Social Diary or on Dwell. Take this converted library in Portland, for instance. It was designed by Jessica Helgerson and looks very rich and stylish. As you can see, she decided to paint all the doorposts and windows black – which is always bit of a gamble, if you ask me, but I think it worked out wonderfully.
