Yes! Time to get started on a new DIY project. This time around, I’m going to give the vintage bar cart you see below a much-needed makeover. It looks kind of boring at the moment, but I can assure you it’s going to be quite a looker after I paint it with Farrow & Ball. I have to admit it was a bit of a challenge finding the right colour. There were so many great options to choose from on the extremely well thought out colour card, I just couldn’t make up my mind. In the end I decided on painting the bar cart in Charlotte’s Locks, a beautiful hue of orange that is bound to look stunning in a glossy finish. I can’t wait to get started tonight!
Now, you can follow my progress on the @therealinteriorator Instagram page – and of course I’ll be sharing the best bits and pieces on the Interiorator Facebook page and Twitter feed as well. And speaking of Twitter, if you search for #finditpaintitloveit you’ll find lots and lots of inspiration by other bloggers and stylists who are also giving a vintage piece of furniture a makeover with Farrow & Ball.
And if that isn’t enough, I’ve also created a special #finditpaintitloveit Pinterest board where I’ll be collecting other bar carts that I like, my favorite Farrow & Ball pictures, styling tips and more. Rrrriveting stuff!
