Design Museum Gent – Linked: The Collection is Networking

Again, again! I felt like a Teletubby after my extensive tour of the Memphis collection at the Design museum Gent. But there was more to be seen – lots more, in fact – and so it was on to a temporary exhibition called Linked: The Collection is networking. It. Was. Amazing. You know how cartoon characters get those spirals in their eyes when they go crazy? I felt exactly like that when I saw all the beauty before me. I went insane in the membrane, so to speak. And I’m pretty sure you will too when you take a look at the pictures I took. My absolute no doubt about it one hundred per cent certified favorite was the Pyramid cabinet by Shiro Kuramata …. So Seventies futuristic and still so current! I actually had a bit of a lump in my throat, I kid you not (and I mean, really!).
