No self-respecting interior design blog should be without a blogpost about Woody Allen’s 1978 masterpiece Interiors.I’ve seen this movie God knows how many times and can recite every memorable quote at the drop of a hat. Interiors – as you may know – is a about a woman in her fifties (played by Geraldine Page) who tries to deal with her painful divorce with – what else – an obsession with interior design. You’ve got to love this woman’s subdued style that she forces upon her entire family – with her beiges and her earth tones (that’s a quote right there). What I love even more though, is the part where her ex-husband’s new partner visits her house in – how dare she? – a fiery red dress and then breaks a vase. Really!
Enough rambling – enjoy the pictures and a hilarious Seventies New York elitist movie trailer.
